When trying to run the program, a dialog box pops up and says there's a bug in the software and cannot open. Uninstalled it, downloaded it again, installed it again, but it still gave me the exact failure and I uninstalled once more.

P.S. I'm running Windows XP.

I have OO3.1 I believe and tried to download templates for an invoice to no avail then I tried to upgrade and download OOOP to no avail. I don't know what I'm doing wrong but I can't seem to make it work. Can you help?

Was great after I worked out how it worked. Setup was good just dont delete any cells or it wont work at all and you will have to start again.

Hi Guys,
I had to create an Invoice in a panic.
Downloaded your template and started using it.
Full of functions. Found it a bit cluttered and not intuitive to navigate. Maybe, it was because I has in a panic. It got the job done with a bit of hacking.
Looking at it after, it looks like you need to customise it for country and look.
Apart from that it works well.

Yes - thanks really good piece of software - I had to work through each tab really slowly as I am not into spreadsheets that much - but the time spent sorting it all out was well worth the effort as I now have a proper invoicing system which works for my business.

I was wondering if there is a similar software for purchases I will have a look now.

Thanks for the Invoice template. It works very well, but the setup time was considerable. If I was not an experienced spreadsheet user I would not have been able to tailor it to my personal needs.

It was a great idea, but found some holes as I am using Open Office on a Ubuntu Linux System. I was unable to save as the default for saving was C: etc as if I was using Windows. But Linux does not use letter designations for locations so it got hung up here.

I was never able to get the program started. The only thing that happened was their own text about the software kept appearing. There was never an invoice- ever that appeared. Plus with macros- you take a chance on compromising your security. Not recommended. Waste of my time.

It Works!

I did appreciate the fact that I could get a professional looking invoice in just a few minutes, and only messed up once bad enough to start over (my error).

I will look for a "manual" or instructions on the web-site, as that would have saved me some time and effort. I did not think the instructions weregood enough, although they were adequate. After all, I did send out my first invoice using the program.

Thanks for a good, working invoice creator, and the background macros to make the next ones even easier.

A preliminary review

I haven't gotten deeply into this application, but it seems extreme overkill for what I need. I just want a little template that will let me enter stuff and maybe add it up. It just has to look reasonably good. So I haven't really played with it much because it seems like a lot of work to get it to do the incredibly simple thing I need it to do.

Other then that, if you need something more full featured it seems great.

In general the template is very good. Very useful for automatic invoicing and records. I enjoyed it and actually switched my invoice template to this one. There are just little things that I changes within the invoice to adjust it to my needs.

Very easy to use, Looks professional

This simple package was so easy to use that I successfully made two beautiful (and complex) invoices for clients within a matter of minutes. It wasn't perfectly aligned from the start, but it was very easy to fix the fonts on the Logo and Company Name cells. I did have one small problem, though. I made my logo blue, and the very first time it printed, it came out blue, but it came out black-on-blue ever since. I don't think it has anything to do with Invoice-Easy2.1, but I haven't had this problem anywhere else yet. I found a lot of neat features, and I will probably use it from time to time when I just need to make a very pretty invoice right away, but I will most likely not use it for my regular work, because I need something much more complex for what I do. Thank you so much for your work!

Useful for small NGO

Downloaded this yesterday and it looks like just what I need for sending invoices out to advertisers in our small non-profit organization's magazine. At present we are using carbon invoice books, so this is will be a step in the right direction. You can list your clients on one page of the spreadsheet, and list your items on another. I found it easy to customize the invoice itself to suit, so next issue my invoices will be going out using this software.

Out of date

The only comment I have is to ask why this is still in OOo1.4 format rather then open document format as used in OOo2.x. I have converted it but some of the functionality needs to be updated.

I was looking for something to generate a quick invoice as I was not able to access the one I usually use. I went through about three others while searching, discarding them all due to complications or just general lack of ease. I stopped my search with Invoice-Easy and after some minor struggling, due to trying to work too fast, got the results I needed. I may not use this product again but I will be able to remember it if anyone asks me looking for something.

I think the developer would be much better creating a OpenOffice database and form invoice system rather than this spreadsheet it'self. Should the database allow direct data entry on the form with pulldown menus showing the parts/unit's (based on a seperate table) and then allow totals and invoice creation based on this then I would buy that database template.

Not intuitive

I tried to use the app, but because of my lack of knowledge in spreadsheet domain, I got lost. I tried to tweak the fields the way I'll use them, but it was to time consuming and I couldn't get it work the way I wanted. So I created the Invoice Template in Writer and that one works fine for me. Once again, I'm totally lost when it comes to spreadsheet - I just don't get it.

Excellent start for a new business

If you are just starting out in a new business, or have been running on paper and need to switch to something simple and convenient, I highly recommend this invoicing sheet.

The instructions are straightforward and clear, the user interface itself is obvious and well laid out, and there are notes on customisation and limitations.

This sheet solves basic invoicing issues for most small businesses.

A very nice program, very easy to understand but unfortunately it is primarily aimed to US market and I have found it very difficult to adapt it to European conditions eg. changing the layout of the invoice is almost impossible. But as the author says you print your first invoice in five minutes. If you are not too demanding it can become your primary invoicing program - it has all features one might need . print an invoice, save it in .pdf and keeping a journal of them.

I downloaded the program but i think i must have done some thing wrong or i did not install or use it properly. I already ide installed it because i have no patience. I am sure that iam the stupid and not the program or the developer:))

When it comes to Excel i have no patience any way.
